StimSure is a state-of-the-art non-invasive electromagnetic technology, and the latest in muscle stimulation aimed to build and tone muscles. This treatment is targeted at patients who are already on a fitness journey, or are looking to further compliment their physique and tone their muscles.
StimSure technology is used to strengthen and define the abdomen, calves, biceps, triceps, glutes and thigh muscles through contraction and stimulation. This new innovative device uses the StimSure applicators to generate an electromagnetic field, stimulating the motor neuron cells of the body’s muscles.
An electromagnetic field from the StimSure paddles, creates an electric current to engage the muscles. The muscle contracts like it would during movement/ exercise. The stimulation keeps the muscles contracted tense repeatedly – ‘maximal tetanic contraction’.
The electric current stimulates an action potential in the motor neuron cells of the bodies muscles.
This consistent muscle contraction results in a more efficient growth of muscle fibres.
StimSure is ideal for people looking to build and define their muscles to complement their fitness journey.
This varies from patient to patient, but it’s usually complete within 6-8 sessions. Your practitioner will have a consultation with you before treatment to plan out what you need.
You’ll feel your muscles contracting as you would during any physical exercise or movement; StimSure will contract your muscles up to 24,000 times during a 20-30 minute treatment.
There is no recovery period or downtime with StimSure, so you can have the treatment and get back to your life immediately.
Patients will start to see and feel results after treatment. However, the best results are usually seen within 3-4 weeks after the full treatment plan.
