Pathology,Radiology, Physiotherapy and Eye services are also available nearby. These are normally bulk billed, however, a fee may also be payable. Confirmation can be given at the time of the booking.
MAKING APPOINTMENTS:
Patients can make an appointment with his or her doctor of choice by phoning the surgery or online www.nitai.force.com . If urgent attention is required, there are appointment times open to fit in patients with urgent medical problems. If a longer consultation is required, please inform the reception staff when booking.
COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
You can contact doctors in this practice by telephone during normal surgery hours. A message will be taken when the doctor concerned is with another patient. Of course, in an emergency calls will be put straight through.
AFTER HOURS CARE:
If you need to contact a doctor outside of our consulting hours please call 132660 for the Locum service. You may attend your local hospital Emergency Department or call 000 for more urgent matters.
HOME VISITS:
Home visits are available for regular patients of the practice who are unable to attend the surgery because of their medical conditions. Visits can also be arranged for patients in nursing homes.
FEES AND BILLING:
This clinic bulk bills pensioners and Healthcare card holders. All other patients are charged a fee. Please ask the receptionist for the latest fees payable. Some services incur a fee regardless. Pathology tests and most radiology nearby are bulk billed. A fee will be charged for all non-urgent home visits–please ask the receptionist for details.
REMINDER SYSTEM:
We have a reminder system in place for some checkups such as pap smear, annual health check, asthma and diabetes tests that you can enroll in. We will contact you prior to the next test to make an appointment. Please see your doctor to enrol for this.
TEST RESULTS:
Your doctor will advise you when to contact our clinic to obtain your test results. Please call on the nominated day to receive your test results. In some cases, the doctor will require you to visit our clinic. Our reception staff will advise you of this and can arrange an appointment for you.

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this is only available to authorised members or staff. If you require information about your health records, please ask a member of our medical staff. You may assist us by advising us of any changes to your personal details such as address, phone number or changes to custody arrangements for children under your care.
