What happens when we age?
As we age, we lose facial volume, (more obvious in thin people) causing loss of high cheek definition, hollows under the eyes, more prominent nasolabial folds (cheek fold). It results in regressed chin, jowls and hollows below the mouth and thinning of the lips. 

What is a Dermal Filler?
Dermal Filler is a clear , biodegradable gel acid which is naturally found in the human body.

How are problems treated?
Dermal Filler is injected directly into the problem area. This restores Volume and reduces lines in the face, therefore making the face look more youthful.

How safe is it?
At Nitai Medical & Cosmetic Centre, we use only TGA approved products. Dermal fillers are manufactured under strict sterile conditions in a laboratory. There is no risk of any cross infection. Each individual syringe is used for one patient. There are no animal products used. Dermal Fillers are an effective, non-surgical facelift.

How Does it feel in the face?
Initially, there may be some bruising and swelling (which can be covered with makeup) and may feel lumpy. By 2 weeks, the area feels the same as the rest of the face – nice and soft with no lumps.

Who does the treatment?
All patients are assessed medically by Dr. Singh and her team for suitability of treatment. All injections are administered by Dr. Singh.

Does it Hurt?
All our procedures are performed with the patient comfort being the top most priority. We have a range of techniques available from nerve blocks. numbing creams, and ice analgesia. Some of our fillers have xylocaine incorporated in it which allows for a quicker , painfree and better result with less numbness and swelling after the procedure.

Can excess filler be removed?
At Nitai Medical & Cosmetic Centre we only use Dermal fillers that contain Hyaluronic acid. These can be be dissolved with “Hy+” which is used to dissolve dermal fillers injected unevenly or excessively. It will be effective within 2-24 hours. Multiple treatments can be necessary as it is difficult to estimate dosage required.
